Today's post is a little love letter to sandwiches. Sandwiches, IMO, are the unsung heroes of culinary creativity. They're a symphony of flavors, textures, and colors all tucked between two slices of bread. I have been known to travel to the Bronx for a great hoagie. I'm mildly obsessed with geometric perfection of the McDonalds Filet O' Fish Sandwich. Don't get me started on a good chicken cheesesteak, or my favorite Wawa shortie combination. Here in Brooklyn, places like Court Street Grocers (hello, Turkey Delight) and Brooklyn Larder have my heart for the perfection they dole out between two slices. So of course I had to do a sandwich themed post, as tribute to this humble handheld delight.
